Black Friday kicks off in just a few days (god help us), and in the spirit of all things consumerism, Google has now confirmed its selection of offers for Black Friday.
Sadly, there are no discounts available for the Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL – guess they’re a bit too new to discount. If you’re after a Google Home or Chromecast device, however, you’re in luck, as both will be heavily discounted come the 24th.
You can pick up the Google Home Mini direct from Google for just $29 and this includes $10 store credit, which basically means you’ll pay $19 for the device. Not too shabby.
eBay is doing something similar too; you can get the Home Mini for $29 and this includes a $10 gift card.
Want something bigger? Google Home will retail for $79 in Google’s online store – almost $50 cheaper than usual.
Google is also retailing Chromecast and Chromecast Audio for $25 – the usual price is $35.
All of the above deals run from Black Friday through to Cyber Monday, so you have plenty of time to size up your options.
I have all of these devices in my home and I use them more or less every day. Chromecast, for instance, has become so ingrained in my life that I actually forget it is there, I just take the damn thing for granted. Ditto Google Home, which has quickly become my go-to assistant for organising my life and playing music in my office.
If you’re interested in any of the above, be sure to visit Google’s store during Black Friday and Cyber Monday. I guarantee you will not be disappointed with your purchase, as all these devices make excellent additions to any home or office.
