The OnePlus 5T is barely out the gate and already a software update has landed; a 107MB file is being pushed to handsets as Oxygen OS 4.7.2, with the main focus of the update being to fix the widely reported "KRACK" vulnerability, which addresses holes in the Wi-Fi WPA2 protocol's security.
The patch contains a number of other tweaks and changes though, including general optimisations, stability improvements, and bugfixes. As well as this OnePlus tweaked fingerprint and face unlock features to make them work a little better, and has improved the EIS (electronic image stabilisation) when using 4K video recording. As well as this, the "screen off" gesture has been modified to improve accuracy.
The update should be landing over-the-air on most OnePlus 5T handsets either now or very soon - if you haven't got it yet then keep checking every now and then, as it should appear shortly.
