Hot on the heels of OnePlus' Twitter teaser, confirmng the OnePlus 5T by name and tipping the launch location as New York, comes official confirmation of the launch schedule. OnePlus has now confirmed the new flagship will indeed launch on November 16 and hit retail on November 21 - this lines up perfectly with what we heard from the rumour mill previously.
OnePlus took to its own forums to announce the event, and also published a video on YouTube.
The OnePlus 5T launch will take place in Brooklyn at 11am local time - that's 4pm GMT. As per OnePlus' previous events, there will be a global livestream, but OnePlus is also inviting fans in the US to attend the event directly.

Not long ago, Twitter's Evan Blass, aka @evleaks, was one of the main leaksters who turned the rumour train 180-degrees from the consensus that a OnePlus 5T was apparently "not happening" to full steam ahead. At that time he also tipped that the OnePlus 5T would arrive at some point after November 20. After that we saw a leak from China which said the launch event would be November 16.
"For those eagerly considering the OnePlus 5T, let me share a key piece of info to help you decide," said OnePlus' post by Carl Pei, "Sales for the OnePlus 5T in North America and Europe start on November 21. The OnePlus 5T will be available in China on December 1. Early birds in India will be able to get their device through a flash sale on November 21, while official sales start on November 28."
