The NichePhone-S is The SMALLEST Android Phone You’re Ever Likely To See

The NichePhone-S is here and it is one tiny lil’ Android phone that clocks in at around the same size as a credit card

For the longest time, phones have been doing one thing and one thing only: getting bigger and faster and more expensive.

However, the NichePhone-S is doing something completely different; it is embracing smallness and it is doing it to an extreme you seldom see in the phone space these days.

I mean… just look at it!

The NichePhone-S is around the same size as a credit card, so very small, and while it does run on Android, you won’t get much use from it via the NichePhone-S’ tiny display. Oh, and the version of Android it’s running is Android 4.2. So, yeah…

What else is crammed in there? A MediaTek CPU, a 550mAh battery, a nano-SIM slot and a microUSB port for charging. And that, readers, is about it.

The NichePhone-S will be available to buy on November 10, though as far as we’re aware it is only going on sale in Japan, where it will retail for 10,000 yen.

I don’t know much about phones in Japan, but I’m guessing there must be some kind of market for phones like this. Why else would a company do it if there wasn’t? I know the company is called NichePhone, but this handset gives an ENTIRELY new meaning to the term niche!

Mental!
