Although the Huawei Mate 10 Pro has been on the market for a while in much of the world - even picking up a bunch of awards at CES 2018 in January - to date it has not been available in the US. That changes very soon, with the pre-order period for the handset now officially opening stateside.
Those wishing to pre-order can hit up a number of online retailers, including Amazon, Best Buy, B&H, Newegg, and, oddly enough, Microsoft. It'll set you back a fair bit though, the RRP is $800 and there's no variation on the price as there are no different options for storage and the like - the default is 128GB of onboard storage and 6GB of RAM.
The rest of the spec line-up inlcudes a massive 4,000mAh battery, IP67 water and dust resistance, a 6in FHD AMOLED display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, and Huawei's really quite incredible Kirin 970 processor, which will easily go toe-to-toe with Qualcomm's Snapdragon series.
Oh and there's also the camera, of course, which is one of those dual-sensor jobs with both 12 and 20MP sensors working in tandem; the whole setup is Leica branded as well.
Colour options include blue, grey, or black, and the phone will ship on February 18. Pre-orders made before that date will also get a $150 gift card for the retailer from which the handset was purchased.
