The Huawei P20 IS NOT launching at MWC 2018, but you want have long to wait for the handset

The Huawei P20 was rumoured to launch at MWC 2018. That isn’t happening, however, but don’t fret – the phone will launch in Paris on March 27 instead.

Huawei has now sent out press invites to the event which will see its brand new flagship for 2018 unveiled. The company’s P-Line of smartphones have developed beautifully over the past few years, so the expectation is rather high for the Huawei P20 ahead of its unveiling.

The handset will feature an ALL DISPLAY front, similar to the Essential Phone and iPhone X, as well as notch, and what looks like a very compelling camera on the back of the handset, as you can see in the image below:

Unlike the P10, as well as every other Android phone around right now, the Huawei P20 will feature three rear-mounted camera optics, which tells us Huawei has something very impressive planned for its March 27 event.

The camera will likely be the main event, but the internals will also be pretty impressive too. Most likely to appear is Huawei’s new Kirin 970 CPU alongside an ungodly amount of RAM that will ensure the Huawei P20 is one of the fastest and most potent phones on the planet.

There will apparently be three models, across three price points, meaning Huawei intends on cornering all aspects of the market from low to high, so expect to pay a pretty penny for the high-end model, though likely not iPhone X prices.

Huawei recently lost its deal with AT&T and Verizon in the US, which is a massive blow for the company, however, the handsets will still be widely available from third part retailers as well as networks in the UK and Europe.

Roll on, March 27!
