More and more details are starting to emerge regarding the OnePlus 6, and most recently OnePlus itself has released a teaser video via Twitter, in doing so hinting that a release isn't too far away. But according to new reports, OnePlus may launch an additional OnePlus 6 in late April, presumably after the main model launches; this additional model will follow the Star Wars-themed OnePlus 5T, but instead will be themed around the forthcoming Avengers: Infinity War movie.
While the tip-off does not explicitly say it'll be a OnePlus 6, it's unlikely that OnePlus would launch another themed OnePlus 5 so close to the launch of a successor flagship. The following teaser video for the film was posted to YouTube and does hint about a themed OnePlus handset. Originally the video was posted on the official OnePlus India Facebook page. Also, the launch of the Avengers: Infinity War film is April 27.
If OnePlus' past themed models are any indication, the Avengers: Infinity War OnePlus 6 should have the same specs and features as the regular model, and likely the same price, but will have a themed exterior design and colour, as well as wallpaper and other software elements.
