There have been multiple rumors about Google doing a cheaper Pixel 3 phone in 2018.
And now those rumors have gotten a little more solid, following a pretty sizeable leak via Reddit.
The leaked images are featured below:
As you can see from the leaked shots, the Pixel 3 carries a very similar design to the Pixel 3 XL, just minus the notch.
The Pixel 3 display has a resolution of 2160 x 1080 and a pixel density of 440dpi.
The design of the phone, sadly, is a bit pedestrian. It looks a lot like the outgoing Pixel 2 XL, which is to say a little conservative and a little boring.
I was hoping that Google would shake things up this year, add in some more design flair… but it appears that this is not the case.
At least on the smaller version anyway. I am glad that the bezels at the top and bottom aren’t too huge, as they were on the Pixel 2, so that’s something, I guess…
Google Pixel 3 Specs
The battery is a 2915mAh cell and that will run along as Snapdragon 845 CPU and Qualcomm’s Adreno 630 GPU, as well as 4GB of RAM.
All of Google’s Pixel 3 phones will be available via Google Play, and there has been talk of Verizon being the exclusive carrier but that might not be the case.
The source of these leaked images claims he is testing the phone for another carrier, which indicates that the Pixel 3 will not be an exclusive to Verizon.
Google Pixel 3 Release Date
The Google Pixel 3 range will be announced in a few weeks time, so you can expect a release date during October.
