Xiaomi Mi Mix 3's slide-out camera allegedly shown on video (but there's a catch)

After Honor teased the Magic 2 with a pop-up camera, Xiaomi's co-founder was quick to reveal that the Mi Mix 3 will have a similar design, both taking after the Oppo Find X. That may not be the whole story, however. A short video that shows a Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 being handled reveals that the mechanism is manual. It appears to be a slider design with the bottom "half" sliding up to reveal the earpiece, selfie camera and other gadgetry. That's not how the Find X camera works, that one is motorized.
