Embargos. They can either be respected or obliterated, and I’m guessing Unwire believes in the latter, as they just published a full review of the as-yet-unannounced Google Pixel 3 XL.
The review shows off the phone in all its glory, confirming what you get in the box, and 100% of its new features and specs.
You can read the full thing here.
Google Pixel 3 XL Review – Is It Any Good, Then?
According to the review, which is published in Chinese, yes, the Google Pixel 3 XL is very good. The reviewer is very positive about the changes Google has made, especially the larger display – it’s now a 6.3in OLED panel.
Apparently, the increase in size doesn’t affect the handset’s usability in a negative fashion either, which is good.
Google Pixel 3 XL Pictures
The blog also published a raft of images with its review, so if you were wondering what the Google Pixel 3 XL looks like, wonder no more!
What About The Camera?
Again, very positive stuff. The reviewer says the camera aboard the Pixel 3 XL is better than the one inside the Pixel 2 XL – and that one was no slouch.
They also confirm that the camera app has more features too, more settings and things to fiddle with. Overall, this is hugely promising, as the Pixel 2 had one of the best shooters in the business.
If Google can make meaningful gains in this department once again, it would make a very decent case for getting the Pixel 3 XL over, say, the iPhone XS MAX. The report does not that Apple’s iPhone XS MAX is better in low-light, however, though the jury’s still out on that – the Pixel 3 XL will 100% not be running final software, as its a pre-release phone.
Other Notable Comments?
The Pixel 3 XL has wireless charging, comes with 128GB of storage, uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 CPU, and packs in 4GB of RAM.
In benchmark tests, it scored 217356 – a very decent score.
Overall, looks like we have a lot to lot forward to once the Pixel 3 XL gets official!
