Why The Huawei Mate 20 PRO Will CRUSH Everything In 2018

Things have changed, there's a new sheriff in town... and it'll go by the name Huawei Mate 20 PRO

Not so long ago, Huawei was a bit of a joke brand. No one knew how to pronounce its name, its phones weren't all that great, and it struggled to capture market share from more established brands.

That has no all changed; and while it didn't happen overnight, the rise of Huawei is no joke. The company now makes some of the best phones on the market and it is quickly catching up to Samsung in terms of brand awareness.

The Huawei Mate 20 PRO has been rumored for months, the handset has been leaked and discussed multiple times, but as the launch draws near, things are now starting to get REAL.

The big thing about this phone is... everything. From the 7nm CPU to the OLED display, this handset has one goal in mind: destroy the competition on all fronts.

Huawei's Kirin chipset is a BEAST. It is also now available in 7nm form; this is what will power the Huawei Mate 20 PRO. It will bring insane processing power and better, overall power efficiency.

The only other chip on the market (right now) that will be able to hold a candle to it is Apple's A12 CPU, which you'll find inside the iPhone XS and XS MAX.

Apple's new flagship handset has received a lot of praise. It is super-slick and super-fast, as you'd expect. But the design is unremarkable, especially if you used the iPhone X.

The Google Pixel 3 XL will use older CPU technology, feature a brilliant camera and software, and run a moderately updated (but still incredibly boring) new design language.

Not too many USPs for either handset, really.

The MATE 20 PRO, meanwhile, has USPs all over the shop; it is the first handset release I have been truly excited about for a long time. The specs are one thing, but it's when you view them as a whole things start to get more interesting and take shape.

The CPU, the RAM, the camera, the display, the camera -- Huawei has drilled down on ALL fronts in a bid to oust the current big players. It's not just competing, it's actively trying to destabilize the powers that be.

And it's doing it properly: through innovation on all fronts.

It will also run a 4000mAh battery too, and this, combined with its 7nm chipset, should ensure market-leading battery life. The company's MATE 8 was INSANE with respect to battery life, and the MATE 20 PRO should carry on this tradition with aplomb.

Bottom line? If you're due an upgrade and you're thinking in terms of Samsung or Apple. STOP! Hold your horses. And wait until this phone is official. I guarantee that it will almost certainly take your breath away!
