Details of the much-rumoured Nokia EOS have been doing the rounds on the web for some time now but this latest leak focuses on aesthetics rather than specs.
Images appearing to show a white version of the PureView phone's outer shell have surfaced via WPCentral and suggest that the upcoming device will feature a sizeable camera module.
The picture, which originated from Chinese website Sinaimg.cn, depicts a white polycarbonate casing similar to that seen other leaked pictures, only with a huge circlur cut-out. It is presumed that this is where the touted 41-megapixel camera will be situated.
Whether or not this image is genuine remains to be seen but with the handset rumoured to follow the design styling of last year's Lumia 920 device, it looks to have some veracity.
The Windows Phone handset is also expected to launch with 32GB of non-expandable storage, which makes sense as the super-camera and associated software will most likely take up the space.
Nokia's 808 PureView handset saw the birth of the firm's PureView tech and included a 41-megapixel camera, so it's not unreasonable to expect similar imaging technologies show up on the EOS.
A recent Nokia press release details an event scheduled to occur in New York on July 11, promising ‘zoom reinvented,’ which could suggest that the EOS may get an outing then.
As ever, official confirmation of the device's existence and spec line-up has not been forthcoming, but with that date not too far away, there's not long to wait until all is revealed.
