The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini is now available for pre-order SIM-free from UK retailer Clove priced at £390.
The handset is pegged to arrive in July, which is when Clove says its stock will turn up and also when Three, EE and Phones4U have confirmed they will stock it.

Carphone Warehouse has now begun taking pre-orders for those who want 24-month contracts rather than buying the phone straight-up with no SIM card plan.
The retailer is offering tariffs from a range of major UK networks, inlcuding EE, T-Mobile, Orange, Vodafone, O2 and Three, with prices starting at £27 per month. The upside here is that the phone gets thrown in for free.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini sports a 1.7GHz dual-core processor with 1.5GB of RAM, believed to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display, 8GB of storage plus microSD expandability and an 8-megpixel camera.
It also shares many of Samsung’s TouchWiz interface features from the regular Galaxy S4 flagship, allowing you to scroll through web pages with your eyes or stream a music track to a friend’s compatible Samsung Galaxy phone for that ‘stereo’ experience.
We were rather hoping the Galaxy S4 Mini would come in cheaper than £390, although that is just Clove’s SIM-free price so far. It has a far more competitive spec proportionate to the Samsung Galaxy S4 than its predecessor, the Galaxy S3 Mini, had compared to the Samsung Galaxy S3 flagship.
Even so, compared to competing handsets such as the Nexus 4 it is considerably more expensive and there seems to be little justification other than ‘it’s part of the Samsung Galaxy S4 family’.
We hope to get a Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini into the office fairly soon to give you our full review. Then we can tell you if it really is worth close to £400.
