Sony keeps using up the alphabet, shows off the new Xperia M

xperia m Sony has just unveiled its next smartphone in its Xperia series with the Xperia M, a phone that is by no means meant to challenge the Galaxy S4′s and HTC One’s of the smartphone world, but aims to take a firm hold in the lower range market.

The M will come with a dual-core 1GHz Snapdragon CPU and 1GB RAM, and will carry a 4-inch 854×480 display while running Android 4.1. It also has 4GB internal storage which is complimented, of course, with a microSD slot. The battery comes in at a bare 1,750mAh, but should give reasonable battery life given the specs.

It’s not going to set the world on fire, but the Xperia M looks like a great addition to that budget end of the smartphone scale. Personally I like the look of these newer Xperia phones, and if you’re tired of black, the phone also comes in white, purple and yellow. Fancy the Xperia M? Let us know what you think in the comments.
