Another set of pictures of the HTC One Mini has emerged showing the black-coloured edition, while the source of the leak has had hands-on with the device and can confirm some of its rumoured specs.

The snaps and info come courtesy of Bulgarian tech news site Smartnews that confirms a 4.3-inch display, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage will be loaded into the handset.
Allegedly the phone carries Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and provides very fast performance with decent quality photos. It’s rumoured to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 dual-core chip but the source has not yet confirmed this. The display pixel density is cited at 342 pixels-per-inch, according to the tipster, which would suggest it has a 1280x720 pixel resolution as per rumours.
Design-wise, it’s much as we’ve seen before, the phone looks just like its larger HTC One cousin but with a bit more plastic trim. The bulk of the bodywork remains aluminium though and it still has punched front-facing stereo speaker grilles and two capacitive touch keys, while the logo on the back shows Beats Audio technology is onboard.
Rumours say the camera is the same 4.3-megapixel ‘Ultrapixel’ setup found on the HTC One and it’s possible this will employ HTC’s Zoe imaging software for editing your snaps and videos. The leak describes the display as being very bright and we suspect it’s HTC’s favoured LCD tech, though whether it uses the same SLCD3 as the HTC One remains to be seen.
Being a smaller handset with a lower spec, the HTC One Mini is supposed to offer a similar experience but in a more compact and more affordable package, but we don’t yet know what price point the HTC One Mini will land at. It will be in direct completion with Samsung’s Galaxy S4 Mini which retails for around £380 SIM-free.
