iPhone 5S frame parts have leaked online showing some of the features we can expect to see at launch.
The leak, which comes via Chinese social networking site Weibo, chimes with previous details we’ve seen suggesting a dual-LED flash for the camera module, indicated by an oval-shaped hole next to the main sensor port. The parts are also shown in black and white, suggesting that despite increasing evidence the budget iPhone 5C (aka iPhone Light) will come in a range of colours, the premium iPhone 5S will remain in its classic design colour-wise.
It’s largely believed at this point that the iPhone 5S will very closely follow the iPhone 5 in terms of exterior design and this new panel, pictured side-by-side with the iPhone 5’s equivalent part, would certainly suggest that as, aside from having the larger port for two LEDs it is virtually identical.
Analysts have previously reported an ‘improved LED ‘Smartflash’ which may feature both yellow and white coloured LED lights to help create a more natural lighting effect when taking indoor snaps.
The iPhone 5S is thought to be launching alongside the cheaper iPhone 5C, which will feature a single-piece plastic back panel in a range of colours, a white front fascia, a single row of speaker holes at the bottom and a camera module with a single LED flash. Current rumours claim Apple will launch its new products on September 10, but at time of writing a new report suggests October 25 will see the company’s handsets actually landing in stores.
