Need to snap the screen on your Samsung Galaxy S4? We will teach you how

You don’t realise how useful capturing the screen on your device is until the option is taken away from you. Many don’t realise that you can do the same as print screen on a computer but on your Android phone.

Samsung’s Galaxy S4 is simple to take screenshots on, all you need to do is press a couple of buttons and you’re away. Any app, game or message you’re using can be captured in a couple of seconds and you can carry on about your business. Want to know how it’s done? Read on.

What Do You Want To Capture?

Any app or screen can be captured on the Samsung Galaxy S4. Make sure what you want to capture is ready on the display to take your first screenshot. If there’s not anything in particular you want to grab you can just use the home screen for this example.

Take Your Snap

Hold the power button at the top of the device down at the same time as the home button underneath the display. If you press down at the same time after a few seconds it’ll take your screenshot. It’ll flash and disappear into a smaller image, now you’ve taken your first screenshot on the S4.

Head Over To Photos

Your screenshots will all appear inside the Photos application and should file themselves away neatly. From there you can share the screenshot by a variety of methods or you can plug it in and save it onto your computer. It’s all up to you.

Want to learn how to do it on the Samsung Galaxy S3? We’ve got a guide dedicated to the S3 as well.
