The Sony Honami has been leaked again, and this looks to be a real device, or at least a prototype of the finished object
According to the source, the device packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and a massive 20-megapixel camera, although there was no evidence shown for these in the pictures.
The screen size isn't specified, but it looks to be around 5-inches.
The flash shows in the pictures as an LED flash, but it will apparently be upgraded to a Xenon flash in the final device.
The prototype also shows a dedicated camera button on one side alongside the power key and a speaker on the bottom.
As you'd expect, there's also a microSD card slot, 3.5mm headphone jack and volume keys shown in the pictures. There also seems to be some kind of contact charging solution, but this may be an unfinished port that will be finessed before the launch of the device.
Following a render of the Sony Honami earlier in the week, some parts of the device seem to have changed. In the renders, there was a huge camera on the back of the device, with a completely different front design.
On these new pictures, there appears to be a pill-shaped home button, where the renders show an intergrated key that seems to fall off the bottom bezel.
The renders also showed a double LED flash, where these new pictures show a single light.
Other spec rumours include a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM and an Adreno 330 GPU, 4G LTE connectivity, infrared port, NFC, IP55/58 dust, water and shock resistance/waterproofing with no flaps on the ports. A 3,000mAh battery pack should provide plenty of juice while Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are also onboard along with 32GB of storage and a microSD slot.
